For this class, I did many different assignments that required me to understand the space, size, and overall feel of a room. I got to understand why we recycle and upcycle. Along with scaling the fabric's pattern up and down to see what would look best for the space. For the Visual Experience of an Interior Space Line assignment, I was able to draw the whole room using lines. The next part of that project was the Shape Assignment. That taught me more about how spacing works within designing rooms. The Visual Texture assignment was able to show me the texture all throughout the room. Overall, I have been able to learn a lot through these assignments.

My name is Mariana Peterson, a fourth-year Interdisciplinary Studies student at Liberty University. My passion for Art and Design has grown from a lifelong appreciation of the environments around me and the way beautiful spaces can influence how I feel, think, and live. I am especially drawn to warm, comforting color palettes. Such as soft pinks, rich beiges, calming blues, natural greens, and earthy browns. These colors often find their way into my projects, helping me create interior spaces for peaceful, inviting, and full of life. My mission as I design art and spaces is to glorify God through the simple Beauties found in everyday spaces. I believe that throughout design, it can reflect God's creativity and bring a sense of Harmony and joy into places we inhabit. whether light through color or intentional material choices. I aim to design environments that encourage rest, inspiration, and deep connections.
